RRB NTPC Notification 2019:
The Indian Railways is set to release the official notification for 1.3 lakh vacancies in the near future through Employment News. Regarding an unofficial RRB NTPC notification circulating on social media, an official from the Railway Recruitment Board clarified to NDTV that no such notification has been released to the press or the public. The questioned RRB NTPC notification provides detailed information about a 1.3 lakh recruitment drive by Indian Railways, including important dates, vacancies, reservation details, and eligibility criteria.
On Monday, an official from the Indian Railways confirmed that the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), the official hiring agency of the national transporter, will soon issue an indicative notice regarding over 1.3 lakh job opportunities in various posts.
"The alleged notification has not been officially released. We are planning to issue an indicative notice soon through Employment News on February 23," the official informed a news agency. The official added, "The 'RRB NTPC notification' currently circulating on social media may be a draft prepared by the ministry."
"We are working on the notifications, and the preparation work is taking considerable time. Currently, we need to determine the exact vacancies in different departments and apply the reservation rules, especially the newly announced EWS reservation," stated the RRB official earlier. The Union Railways ministry had announced last month that, in addition to the existing vacancies in the Indian Railways, the country's largest employer, a total of 2,30,000 employees will be recruited over the next two years. The recruitment process will be conducted by the 21 Railway Recruitment Boards.
The ministry further clarified that these vacancies will be filled in two phases over the next two years.
